15 May 2026, Kota Kinabalu: BAS.MY Kota Kinabalu continues its commitment towards improving public transportation accessibility for students through a special roadshow and registration programme held in collaboration with Cyberjaya College Kota Kinabalu on 14 and 15 May 2026.
The two-day event, which took place at the library of Cyberjaya College Kota Kinabalu, marked a new collaboration between BAS.MY Kota Kinabalu and the institution in supporting students with easier access to public transportation services and government transport initiatives.
Throughout the programme, students were given the opportunity to register for the BAS.MY Kota Kinabalu Unlimited Free Ride Pass, an initiative provided by the government to help reduce transportation costs and support students in their daily commute for studies and other activities.
The registration booth received encouraging response from students who were excited to learn more about the benefits of using public transportation, including unlimited travel access, easier mobility around Kota Kinabalu, and more affordable daily transportation options.
This initiative is part of BAS.MY Kota Kinabalu’s ongoing effort to bring public transport services closer to communities and educational institutions while encouraging more students to adopt safe, reliable, and sustainable transportation methods.
Through this collaboration, BAS.MY Kota Kinabalu hopes to strengthen connectivity between students and important destinations across the city, including educational centres, commercial areas, and public facilities. The programme also aims to increase awareness about the availability of government-supported transportation benefits for students.
Representatives from BAS.MY Kota Kinabalu shared that the collaboration with Cyberjaya College opens new opportunities for future community engagement programmes and student-focused transportation initiatives in Kota Kinabalu.
Students who successfully registered during the roadshow can now enjoy more convenient and cost-effective travel using BAS.MY Kota Kinabalu services, helping to ease daily transportation challenges while supporting their educational journey.
