BAS.MY Kota Kinabalu Supports Public Transport Accessibility at Karnival Kerjaya MYFutureJobs X Oil & Gas

23 August 2026, KOTA KINABALU: BAS.MY Kota Kinabalu was proud to participate in the Karnival Kerjaya MYFutureJobs X Oil & Gas, organised by PERKESO at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC).

As part of its participation, BAS.MY Kota Kinabalu opened a dedicated registration counter, providing attendees with convenient access to register for Kad Konsesi and Kad 30 Hari. The initiative received encouraging support from members of the public, with a total of 91 registrations.

The event provided an opportunity for BAS.MY Kota Kinabalu to engage directly with members of the public and share information on the available public transport services in Kota Kinabalu, including route connectivity, concession programmes, and travel initiatives available for eligible users.

SICC is also served by BAS.MY Kota Kinabalu Route S05, which connects the area with KK Sentral. This provides visitors, students, job seekers, and the wider community with an accessible public transport option when travelling to and from SICC.

Participation in community-focused events such as the Karnival Kerjaya MYFutureJobs X Oil & Gas forms part of BAS.MY Kota Kinabalu’s ongoing efforts to improve public awareness of the public transport services and facilitate access to registration programmes for eligible users.

BAS.MY Kota Kinabalu would like to thank PERKESO for the opportunity to participate in the event and connect with the community. The encouraging response and successful registrations demonstrate the growing interest among Sabahans in accessible and sustainable public transportation.

Through continued collaboration with organisations, communities, and event partners, BAS.MY Kota Kinabalu remains committed to expanding public awareness and ensuring that more people can experience the benefits of convenient, affordable, and connected public transport across Kota Kinabalu.
