BAS.MY Kota Kinabalu Launches Manjalink Card

14 May 2026, Kota Kinabalu: BAS.MY Kota Kinabalu has officially launched the Manjalink Card, introducing a new cashless payment system that marks a significant milestone in the transformation of public transportation in Kota Kinabalu.

The Manjalink Card represents the first major benchmark towards a smarter and more connected future for public transport payment systems in the city. The initiative is expected to enhance the travel experience for both local residents and tourists while supporting the growth of a more modern and efficient transportation network.

With the introduction of the Manjalink Card, passengers can now enjoy a faster, easier, and more seamless boarding experience without the need for cash transactions when travelling on BAS.MY Kota Kinabalu services. It is also expected to improve operational efficiency and reduce boarding time, contributing to a smoother daily commuting experience.

The cashless initiative will also benefit domestic and international tourists visiting Kota Kinabalu, allowing easier access to various attractions, commercial areas, educational institutions, and key destinations across the city through the BAS.MY Kota Kinabalu network.

Members of the public can now purchase and obtain the Manjalink Card at the BAS.MY Kota Kinabalu counter located at KK Sentral. The availability of the card at the city’s main transportation hub is expected to provide greater convenience and accessibility for daily commuters and visitors alike.
