Kota Kinabalu, November 2, 2025: BAS.MY Kota Kinabalu, in a strategic collaboration with the Sabah Enhanced Travel Innovation Association (SETIA), successfully completed its Kad Konsesi Registration Drive at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC).

The concentrated three-days event ran from October 31 to November 2, effectively bringing public transport benefits and registration facilities directly to the doorsteps of the local community.
The drive was a critical component of BAS.MY’s efforts to expand its network accessibility, providing free registration for the Kad Konsesi program to all eligible citizens. The convenience of the venue was underscored by the fact that the BAS.MY trial service route S05, which travels from KK Sentral via Likas Road stops directly at the SICC, demonstrating the immediate benefits of the new bus service.

The initiative successfully registered individuals across four core categories, which are children aged under 18, university students, Person with Disabilities (OKU) with OKU Card and senior citizens (aged 60 years old and above) with the commitment to ensure the access for affordable travel.
