GENERAL TERMS OF USE: BAS.MY KOTA KINABALU
These are the Terms and Conditions which will apply to you when using the Pas Perjalanan BAS.MY Kota Kinabalu. By using this service, you have unconditionally agreed to be legally bound by the General Terms of Use of all BAS.MY Kota Kinabalu routes. These Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between you as the “End users(s)” and the BAS.MY Kota Kinabalu as the “bus services”.
1.1 These Conditions are binding on all persons to whom or on whose behalf a “BAS.MY Kota Kinabalu” route is implemented across the designated service corridors in Kota Kinabalu.
1.2 BAS.MY Kota Kinabalu is managed and operated by Jaguh Bayu Sdn Bhd (Company No.: 1159447-P), acting as the Service Operator under the Stage Bus Service Transformation (SBST) program.
1.3 For the purposes of these Conditions:
2.1 Use of the BAS.MY Kota Kinabalu service constitutes acceptance of these Conditions and any subsequent amendments.
2.2 Customers shall at all times:
2.3 End users are responsible for treating the buses with care and must not engage in any form of vandalism to the interior or exterior of the vehicles.
3.1 The Service Provider may refuse boarding or require a passenger to alight in circumstances including, but not limited to:
3.2 Any Customer causing personal injury or property damage shall indemnify Jaguh Bayu Sdn Bhd for all resulting losses.
4.1 Customers must behave in a reasonable and sensible manner. Abuse toward staff or other passengers, smoking, or being under the influence of alcohol/drugs is strictly prohibited.
4.2 Eating and drinking are strictly not allowed on the bus to maintain cleanliness and hygiene.
5.1 Schedules: Jaguh Bayu Sdn Bhd reserves the right to vary, delay, or cancel services without prior notice due to circumstances beyond its control (e.g., flash floods, extreme traffic, or road accidents).
5.2 Liability: The Service Provider is not liable for any direct or consequential loss or inconvenience caused by delays.
5.3 Luggage: Liability for lost luggage from the compartment is limited to a maximum of RM200.00 per passenger, subject to verification. This does not apply to carry-on items or theft. Claims must be submitted within 7 calendar days.
6.1 Jaguh Bayu Sdn Bhd and its digital partner (LUGO) have the right to use your personal data for the purpose of operating the cashless payment system and concession verification.
6.2 All data handling follows the Personal Data Protection Act 2010.
7.1 Pets: Strictly no pets allowed on board, regardless of size.
7.2 Smoking: Smoking (including e-cigarettes/vape) is strictly prohibited.
7.3 Luggage Limit: Each customer is allowed a maximum of two (2) medium-sized bags not exceeding a combined weight of 15kg.
7.4 Amendments: These terms are subject to change by Jaguh Bayu Sdn Bhd without prior notice.
